Update: The event went well and the weather was mostly clear. There we very few apples to pick so most of the work was path and other general maintenance as well as other miscellaneous tasks such as chopping onions in preparation for the Apple Day barbecue and erecting gazebos.
On Sunday 19th October we will be going to Boiling Wells, in the middle of Bristol to do some apple picking and path maintenance in preparation for their Apple Day. The Boiling Wells Project is managed by the nearby St Wherburg’s City Farm.
We will meet at 9:15am and walk (for about half an hour); the trip will finish at about 3pm after which we will head to a pub.
If you would like to go please email Jess by 5pm on Wednesday 15th October. There are only 20 places available and if the trip oversubscribed people will be picked at random.
