Update: The weather was bright and clear but chilly however we soon warmed up once we got to work felling trees complete with impressive falling tree sounds. Working on the muddy slopes could be tricky at times but by the end of the day we had cleared a good area and amounted impressive piles of wood. We enjoyed toasting marshmallow on the bonfire and headed to the pub afterwards. Definitely a great trip.
We will be running a trip to Leigh Woods on Sunday 8th February where we will be felling trees. We plan to have a bonfire and toasted marshmallows! These trips are on of our favourites so we recommend coming along.
We will be walking there across the suspension bridge so there is no cost. However to attend you do need to be a member (you can join at our UBU page. It’s only £5 for the year!). Please email Jess by 6pm on Monday 2nd February if you wish to go. Places are limited and names will be picked from a hat if oversubscribed.
