Update: Despite the cold, rain and mud many brambles were cleared and a good time was had. Some of us headed to the pub for some warm food once we were back in town (lesson for next time – leave more time to get to the bus stop). We hope that everyone enjoyed the trip and we see you on others.
On Sunday 22nd February we will be running a taster trip to Providence Plantation. This trip is specifically aimed at non-members as it will provide an opportunity to get an idea of what we do first hand. This event is supported by UBU as part of the Richmond Building re-opening.
Providence Plantation is a piece of woodland owned by the University near Long Ashton, just outside of Bristol. It is an ongoing project for BUCG and UBU.
To get the we will be travelling by bus from Bristol bus station so be sure to bring money for the bus fare. A student day ticket is £3 (£4.40 without discount). The event itself is free. Please email Jess if you would like to come along.
If the trip is oversubscribed names will be picked out of a hat with non-members getting priority. You will be email to let you know if you have or have not got a place on the trip.
