On Sunday 15th November we will be going to Leigh Woods to fell some trees. National Trust ranger Bill will be guiding us to clear the trees along a footpath. This will allow light to reach the forest floor creating a more diverse habitat. We will also make a bonfire from the wood we have cut. This is one of the best trips of the year as felling trees is very satisfying, plus we get to burn stuff!
We are expecting to be out from 10am to 4pm and the head to a pub afterwards. If you would like place on the trip please email Emily by 5pm Wednesday 11th November. (Please note that this trip is only open to members.)
