Our first two trips of the year will be Give-it-a-Go taster trips on Sunday 6th and 13th October. We will be heading to the university-owned woodland of Providence Plantation which we help to manage. On both days we will meet at 10 am at the Students’ Union and 10:30 am at Bristol Bus & Coach Station. You do not need to be a member to come along just email to let us know if you would like to take part.

We are having a ‘Give it a Go’ trip on Sunday 10th Febuary. This will be just like our regular trips to Providence Plantation, but will also be a chance for potential new members to see what we get up to at BUCG. Therefore, you do not need to be a member yet to come along, however current members are of course still welcome!
As this is a Give it a Go session and is open to everyone, I will not be asking for sign ups. Simply turn up at Bristol SU at 10:15am.
You will need the things on this list (including money for the bus).
On Sunday 9th December we will be heading to Providence Platation for a nature walk guided by experts from the Bristol Naturalist Society. This will be a great opportunity for you to get to our regular woodland a bit better and to learn what sort of flora and fauna you can look out for on our trips there.
If you couldn’t make it to the first Taster Trip and still want to see how we roll, come along on Sunday 14th October for a great day of conservation work at Providence Plantation, a reserve in Long Ashton owned by the University and managed by us. If you came on the first Taster Trip, but enjoyed it so much that you can’t wait to do some more conservation, you’re welcome to come along again! This trip is open to non-members as well as members, so if you’re not sure if you want to join yet, this will be a great way to help you make up your mind, and wonderful day out with some great people.
If you would like to attend this trip, please email me (email@example.com) by 7pm on Wednesday 10th October.
